PP blister sheet production process

PP blister sheet production process mainly includes the following steps:

1. Raw material preparation

The raw material of PP blister sheet is PP resin, which usually appears in the form of particles. Before use, the PP particles need to be dried to remove the moisture in them.

2. Extrusion into sheets

The dried PP particles are added to the extruder, and the PP melt is turned into a PP sheet with uniform thickness through heating plasticization, melting, metering, extrusion and other processes.

3. Cooling and shaping

The extruded PP sheet is cooled and shaped by roller cooling or water bath cooling to obtain the required hardness and size.

4. Stretching

The stretching process of PP sheet can improve its strength and toughness and enable it to meet the requirements of blister molding. There are two main stretching methods: uniaxial stretching and biaxial stretching.

5. Trimming

The stretched PP sheet is trimmed to remove edge burrs and irregular parts.

6. Slicing

Slice the trimmed PP sheet into slices according to the required size.

7. Winding

Wrap the cut PP sheet into rolls for easy storage and transportation.

8. Vacuum molding

After heating and softening the PP sheet, use a blister mold to absorb and mold it, and after cooling, you can get a PP blister product.
