PET plastic sheet has good light transmittance, weather resistance, processability and excellent wear resistance. It has the advantages of high strength, good transparency, non-toxic, impermeable, and high production efficiency. In terms of cost, the price of PET sheet has been greatly reduced, which has advantages over PP; in terms of environmental protection, PET sheet has an absolute advantage over PVC; therefore, the proportion of PET packaging products in plastic packaging products will gradually expand.
At present, PET coated antistatic sheets are mainly glossy sheets. Because PET coated antistatic sheet does not require expensive molds, does not rust, does not mold, and can be recycled after use, it has flourished and is widely used in many fields such as electronic products.

(1) Scope of application
This standard specifies the classification, quality requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, packaging, labeling, transportation and storage of coated antistatic PET sheets (roll). This standard is applicable to antistatic sheets produced with PET as the base material and coated with antistatic coatings. Antistatic sheets made of other plastic materials can be used as a reference.
(2) Technical requirements
The length and width of the sheet have a deviation of ±2mm, of which the length is only required for the sheet, and not for the coil.

* Appearance requirements
The color is basically the same, and there should be no cracks, perforations, missing edges, precipitation, and oil stains. Allow slight water lines, clouds, scratches, and dirt that do not affect the use. Allows wrinkles that are not obvious on the surface. There should be no crystal spots, bubbles, black spots, and white spots with a diameter greater than 2.0mm. There should be no more than one joint per roll, and the length of each section should be greater than 20m (products with joints are marked at the joint). The cutting edge should be flat and smooth, without obvious burrs or flounces. The coiling surface should be smooth and the cross-section misalignment should be less than or equal to 5mm.
*Physical performance requirements
The surface resistivity is required to be between 106 and 109. For transparent sheets, the light transmittance is required to be ≥88%, and the haze is ≤5%. Longitudinal tensile strength ≥50 Mpa, transverse tensile strength ≥45Mpa, elongation at break ≥500%.
*Environmental performance requirements
Considering that the multi-color PET antistatic sheet (roll) is used in the packaging of electronic and electrical products, the environmental protection requirements must meet the requirements of the national standard GB/T 26572, namely lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls, and polybrominated diphenyls The content of ether cannot exceed 0.1% (mass fraction), and the content of cadmium does not exceed 0.01% (mass fraction).
a. When testing, it can be tested under natural light or D50 light source. The test environment is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T2918, and the sample state adjustment time is not less than 24 hours.
b. The thickness is tested according to GB/T 6672, and the length and width are tested according to GB/T 6673.
c. The visual inspection method requires that the distance between the inspector’s eyes and the inspection site be 300-500mm.
d. Surface resistivity: use a surface resistance tester to test, or test according to GB/T1410, and use GB/T1410 for arbitration.
e. Light transmittance and haze: tested according to GB/T 2410
f. Tensile strength: tested in accordance with the provisions of GB/T1040.3, requiring the use of type 5 specimens with a tensile speed of (50±5) mm/min.
g. Environmental protection performance index: tested according to GB/T26125.
This standard stipulates that the factory inspection items include specifications, dimensions, appearance and physical properties. In addition to the above items, the type inspection must also test the environmental performance requirements. The sampling plan and determination rules of this standard shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T2828.1.
The label should indicate the user name, product name, product number, product specifications/quantity, production date/batch number, manufacturer name and other information.
Store the product in a ventilated, clean, cool, dry, and temperature-suitable warehouse, and avoid direct sunlight. There must be no heat sources around the product.
