Production process of GAG sheets

GAG sheets are produced by multi-layer co-extrusion technology, and the main steps include:

Raw material selection and preparation: Using high-quality APET and GPET as basic raw materials, the ratio of the two is adjusted through precise proportioning to ensure that the sheet has a balance between hardness, flexibility and thermoforming.

Co-extrusion process: The multi-layer co-extrusion equipment melts APET and GPET and extrude them at the same time. After passing through multiple extrusion heads, different layers of materials are fused together to form sheets. In this process, by adjusting the process parameters, the thickness and performance of the sheet can be precisely controlled.

Sheet cooling and cutting: The extruded GAG sheet is quickly cooled and shaped by the cooling roller, and then cut into different sizes according to needs to prepare for subsequent thermoforming processing.

Thermoforming and mold design:

After the sheet is heated to the softening point, it is pressed into shape by a mold and then quickly cooled to set.
