CPET (crystalline polyethylene terephthalate) is a polyester material that is crystallized through a special heat treatment. CPET plastic sheets are generally opaque, and common colors are black or white. Compared with traditional PET sheets, CPET’s high temperature resistance is significantly improved. CPET plastic sheets are used in thermoformed packaging boxes, often used as microwave oven lunch boxes or aviation lunch boxes.

The production process of CPET plastic sheets mainly includes the following steps:

  • Raw material preparation: High-purity PET resin is used, combined with nucleating agents and additives to enhance the crystallization properties of the material.
  • Extrusion process: PET resin is melted through an extruder to form a continuous and uniform melt.
  • Crystallization treatment: During the cooling process, precise temperature control is used to promote the crystallization of PET molecular chains, giving the material high-temperature resistance.
  • Calendering: Calender the molten material into sheets, and adjust the thickness to 0.18-1.8mm.
  • Heat treatment stabilization: Heat treatment is performed within a specific temperature range to optimize the mechanical strength and dimensional stability of the material.
  • Surface treatment: Coatings can be added to enhance barrier properties or scratch resistance to meet different application needs.
  • Cutting and packaging: Cut sheets according to customer specifications and package them in rolls or flat sheets.
